I ate here with 5 other family members. The meals were tasty and of ample size. The service was slower than I expected but preparing 6 meals at one time was probably the culprit. The restaurant is adjacent to the mall hallway.

I HIGHLY recommend this location! Today was my first time ordering and going to the location in person … this was a suggestion from an office and I must say, hands down, I will order again! Rosa is amazing! The food was delicious and I clearly see why it was recommended!
I initially placed an order online and received a text message that it was cancelled! Soon after, Rosa called me directly and we worked through the issue and she made a miracle happen! She was also helpful with me finding the location as I paid to park in a garage and she gave me detailed instructions. She came in, helped prepare all items in a timely manner and again, we enjoyed ALL of it! I will be back… thanks again Rosa! ?

There are a lot of people I've met and food I've eaten in the DC area and by far this is one of the best places to eat. This family owned restaurant is everything from quality of food, service and care. THE FOOD IS AMAZING❤️❤️❤️. You can tell it's made with love and passion. Sandellas is one of the best places to get a bite of healthy food that's fresh and organic ingredients. The Flatbreads and Paninis melt in your mouth. It's a beautiful thing when a family operated restaurant pours there heart and soul into the food they make. If you haven't tried this place yet, definitely make it on your top priority list when visiting rhw DC area. This is by far the best restaurant I've been too in years. You gotta try it.
And also the organic turkey chili is out of this world . I was blown away.

I loved having an authentic lunch here. The server and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable in helping me get an authentic meal.
I had the pinto and flatbread. I had some honey and powdered sugar on the flatbread, it was like a dessert, cook perfectly. Also had an authentic drink, cannot think of the name, but was like lemonade, not tart at all. The pricing was reasonable for a museum cafe, $10.00 for lunch, drink, and dessert. Thank you everyone for a great experience here.

Our office got catering from Sandella's. We got all kinds of wraps including gluten free tuscan chicken panini that i had and it was SO GOOD!! Thanks yall great food! Ill be visiting in DC

Was rude when simply asking for a straw. Threw the straw on the counter. If you really aren’t allowed to give out straws to non paying customers that’s fine but there’s no need to be rude. I was nice and even said thank you. Edit: That still doesn’t call for the rudeness, also just giving a straw isn’t service. You could have simply said no we only serve customers with a smile, not a mean mug. Have a nice day 🙂
