ヒカラで飲むメスカルネグローニが激ウマだった、新宿のメスカルテキーラオーセンティックバー。

テキーラ界の数々のカクテルコンペで優勝経験を持つ店主の江刺さん。

有名店ですが初入店。

メスカルに絞って、カクテルを3杯飲んだ。
同行の飲み仲間も3杯。

メスカリータとメスカルミュールとメスカルネグローニ。

江刺さんのカクテルは、マニアックなというより、誰が飲んでも美味しいと感じるような印象。

作っていただいたメスカルネグローニは、過去一うまいと感じました。

ヒカラという、メキシコのひょうたんで、メスカルを飲む時にたまに使われる器で飲むネグローニ。
唐辛子が一本浮かんでいて、その香りがめちゃいい。たぶん、少し火入れしているのでは。

飲んだことがないメスカルを見つけたので、ストレートで飲むことも考えたけど、やはりここはカクテルにしてよかった。

We had a great time. We were told there was no menu, they chose a drink based off of our preferences. The bar is small (like most in Tokyo) but it was not cramped. The drinks were delicious. Espresso margarita was a unique twist to an espresso based drink.

The bartender here (possibly owner) has won awards for tequila based drinks. Found on 10th floor.

A must visit. The bartender knows his craft and it's a pleasure watching him prepare the drinks. And the service was generally just perfect. Small, but so cozy. Won't fit a bigger group, and definitely so without a reservation. Perfect for a solo or a couple.

Very good cocktail bar. They follow japanese style: no menu, few seats, and great service. They specialize in Tequila and Mezcal cocktails. We had 4 cocktails: Japanese Old fashioned (with matcha), Mezcal negroni, a japanese peach fruity one, and a tangerine paloma.

Ici tout est dans les détails, petit bar d’environ 18 places au 10e étage d’un petit building il n’y a pas de menu. On dit un peu ce qu’on aime et le barman nous fait un drink approprié probablement deux des meilleurs drinks que j’ai bu de ma vie.

Le barman est un maître. Son assistante super sympathique les deux parlent anglais , et quelques le barman sait quelques mots de français, et le service impeccable.

Ne manquez ce bar si vous visitez Tokyo ❤️❤️

I only discovered this bar in the last few days of my stay in Tokyo. If I had known about it earlier, I think I would have returned every day because it became my favorite bar in Tokyo. The seating is very limited, and the atmosphere is dimly lit and quite intimate. There is no menu; instead, they take note of your taste preferences and make suggestions based on that. The bartender, Koji Esashi, is very talented, which is evident from the awards he has won, but especially from the cocktails he crafts. The cocktails we had were of great quality, perfectly matching our tastes, and we loved them despite not being accustomed to drinking alcohol. Regarding the prices, we had cocktails for less than 2000 yen per person, which is very reasonable for cocktails of this quality. Thank you very much for your hospitality; we ended our trip on a high note with our last drink at your place.

Not an exaggeration to say that this is my favourite bar in Tokyo (and I have visited many bars). Koji-san is friendly and welcoming, and made very impressive drinks. He is a master of mezcal/tequila/gin based cocktails, and I still think of his mezcal espresso martini to this date.

The place was really cozy with great music - posh looking setup, but a very homely feeling. I definitely ended up with too many drinks (visited 3 times over 2 nights). Thank you Koji-san for the great hospitality and amazing drinks
