Hands down the best fried fish I’ve ever had. The greens and sweet potatoes, 100 out of 10, very savory. The sweet potato corn bread is *chefs kiss*. We will be ordering catering for our event next month just from our experience today. Based on the dinner I bought home, my family wants me to bring them back for breakfast asap.

The owners are very friendly and
Kind. The environment is welcoming. I found myself lingering as I was not ready to leave since I was so comfortable. Highly recommend!!

1000 Stars! ⭐️ we stopped in during our honeymoon tour and tried the wings and omg! Best wings hands down ? They were so flavorful no sauce needed! These wings were mouthwatering and delicious. They truly are a hidden gem centered between a little mini mall/ flea market type store you couldn’t ask for a better experience. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Honestly a great experience. Try the banana pudding! You will not regret stopping in for a bite!

As I take a quick intermission , I MUST leave a review. 5 Star is an understatement. The space is very clean, inspiring plaques and trinkets along the counter with uplifting music playing in the background. Customer service is A1 .. BUT LETS TALK ABOUT THIS FOOD!!!! Baaabbbyyy Hagerstown, get ready. I loathe Hagerstown because there is no diversity in the food options. As a Black woman it was VERY exciting to come across this Black Owned establishment. I could just tell the food was going to be great. It isn’t heavy and oily. I could eat this for lunch and still go about a work day without being tired and groggy feeling which leads me to believe she’s getting quality products to prepare these meals and I think what makes it even better is that it’s made with love. I taste the love in it. It’s amazing. I will for sure be back and I encourage anyone in Hagerstown to stop by. I wish Mama continued success. See yall real soon. <3

The food is always delicious and the service is top tier. If you're looking for a soul food restaurant then look no further. Remember this is a soul food restaurant so don't be upset if they don't add raisins to their potato salad.

I'm from Louisiana and haven't had a plate lunch this good in years. The fish, greens, and mac & cheese were excellent and reminded me of home. Highly recommended!

I ordered the fish platter with collard greens and mac-n-cheese.....the food was fantastic! I also tried the chicken wings, cake, and the banana pudding which was also ridiculously delicious. This is one of the few restaurants I've been to where I don't have to add salt/pepper or hot sauce. Do yourself a favor and try this place out!

Today was my time trying out Lady Jays at the Valley Mall and they did not disappoint. I work at the valley mall and I have been waiting for the day for them to open. Sadly I missed the grand opening but I have finally had the chance to try them out today. A coworker and myself went and we tried a few different things! We tried the shrimp and grits which was fantastic with just enough kick, the chicken wings were so flavorful, the potatoe salad was out of this world and DONT EVEN GET MY STARTED ON THE BANANA BREAD. Not only was the food excellent, the customer service that lady jays provided was beyond imaginable. Everyone was SO KIND and helpful throughout our whole visit. I don’t take many lunch breaks when working but I think I’m going to have to now! Thank you so much!!!!? I will be back soon.
