Great brunch at this local spot. Super friendly team and great service. Most of the locals were greeted by name! We sat at the counter and enjoyed the hustle and bustle as the place was packed. The homemade quiche was amazing accompanied by a fresh side salad. Hubby had biscuits with sausage gravy which was also amazing. Better than typical diner coffee and the decaf was fresh for those who don’t do caffeine. No credit cards - bring cash! We will be back for sure.

Best breakfast I’ve ever had. Unfortunately I was unable to take a picture of my food to show you. I ate it so quick because it was too good!! The atmosphere in here is like an old school diner. I love the location as well on the historic old Main Street. Beautiful family owned home cooked meals! Anytime you’re looking for a good breakfast you need to stop here! Warning though, it’s cash only! I hope they upgrade that soon.

Cash only (with ATM inside). The breakfast food was excellent; both the western omelet and pancakes were great. The pancakes were light with lots of toppings and fillings.

I think where L'Dees could improve is with the service. We were directed to two open bar seats as soon as we arrived and our drink order was taken right away....but then our food order wasn't taken for another 30 mins despite sitting right next to the register and multiple taps of our counter section as servers walked by reminding themselves to come see us. When we were finally served, we were told that the thing we wanted was sold out (maybe start with that next time). Then we waited another 15 mins while they "gave us a minute" to choose something else.

I don't normally post non-5 star reviews but felt the need to encourage the team at L-Dees to work on their service. Maybe stop chatting with the locals so much and focus on other paying patrons.

This is a Front Royal staple. They have good food, but it is simple food. I got pancakes and eggs with bacon and sausage. We came in and had to wait for a table. When a table was ready, another older couple came in and got confused and tried to get our table. Luckily, another table came open beside it. I do not feel it was anything that I would have to go back for. I got sausage gravy and a biscuit. The biscuit was soft and good. The sausage gravy barely had sausage in it. It is only cash and does not take credit cards or debit cards. The server was friendly but busy, she was very nice, got the order correct. I do not like package butter, I do not like it for the pancakes. I have eaten at a lot of restaurants and this in my opinion is an OK place. I do think it was clean, and when it is busy, the personalization is taken away.

A friend and I drove from Winchester for breakfast and it was definitely worth the trip!! It was so busy when we arrived, we got the last table! I have a baby in a car seat and the staff were so thoughtful in trying to get us the best table to fit the baby. Our server was a sweet older lady. She was so friendly and attentive and something about her made you feel like you were at grandmas house! I got an omelette and I thought it was great. No big to-do just a normal omelette and I loved it. My friend got the French toast meal and it looks delicious, she said it was great! The prices were very reasonable and the place was cute! I will be back and I recommend others try it!

I've been here three times now. I've enjoyed my food and experience each time. Happy with spending my time and money here. The staff has been polite and attentive to our needs. I recommend this restaurant to all locals and visitors!!

Note: This business is cash only. There is an ATM inside the building. So the only downside is a likely ATM fee.

Parking can be challenging during busy times. Give yourself time to find a spot and/or be prepared to have a short walk.

? This place is one of the best places to eat breakfast. The food is fresh, homemade and exquisite! Our favorite ( no breakfast lol) was the pie.... the coconut pie and the cherries pie, both were made to perfection, they were made minutes before we ordered. The flavor was expectacular, the smell, still warm...oh boy... just writing this review makes me want to get more.
The service was excellent!

Fantastic staff, friendly and prompt! The food was delicious, highly recommend Ultimate Omelette and Steak and Eggs!
