Came here for happy hour, the waitress handed us a menu but never told us the happy hour was on the back, we saw that on Thursdays there was 2 dollars off cocktails so we ordered 2 cocktails. The waiter left to talk on the phone and never came back even though we were the only ones in the restraint. When it came to the bill the 2 dollars off cocktails was never applied to the bill. We feel cheated. Cocktails were pretty good tho

Wouldn't normally give a Denny's a 5 star, but then again, this isn't a normal Denny's. The decor, facilities and service is above any other location...the only thing the same is the food.

CHICKEN LOOKED RAW!

this place is connected with Denny’s, I came here for a birthday. It was completely emptied. It was an awkward first greet. The person who checked us in said to my boyfriend “you’re back again, I recognize you” we never been here once and when we said that he replied “yes, I recognize you because of the hair” - we kind of gave up because he kept insisting when we clearly said he has mistaken us lol. this was a bit off and made it weird? Because he has a same hair as somebody, you assume he looks like the same customer as another? When we ordered wings for the whole table, near the end I noticed the wings were raw and lots of blood. I thought it was just one wing. So I took another from another flavour and left that one on the side. Same thing. Raw! I discreetly told my boyfriend and he said he thought it was just him that the wings were bloody. He asked all his friends and we saw their plate had the same situation! The manager was kindly enough to waive it off the bill. But it definitely lost our appetite. I would have gave it a 1 star but the waitress that took care of our table was kind and had great customer service. I wouldn’t come here again and was surprised this can happen to a franchise kind of business

My daughter and I popped into Bar One after a day filled with errands as she was craving Denny's shredded hash browns. We ended up having the Bar One side all to ourselves and had the dedicated attention of Claudia who went above and beyond with menu recommendations. She took the time to get to know us and share a bit of her Canadian travel stories.
Claudia was delightful. We'll be back just to see her and find out how her trip to the island was!
