Island Vibes Kava Bar is a true tropical oasis and must-visit destination for anyone interested in traditional botanicals. The lush, tiki-inspired atmosphere instantly transports you to an island state of mind. But the real highlight is the incredible staff, especially the knowledgeable host Tahj. A kava master, Tahj patiently educated me on this traditional Pacific drink and how it produces profound relaxation. He also opened my eyes to the world of kratom from Southeast Asia and its synergistic effects when combined with kava for euphoria and pain relief. What sets Tahj apart is his prudent guidance on responsible use and sourcing high-quality products. Under his tutelage, I safely explored the heavenly kava-kratom synergy. The deliciously earthy kava drinks alone are sublime, but combined with kratom's effects, it's a next-level botanical experience of blissful, full-body relaxation that made me feel like I was being let in on an ancient island secret.

Finally, a perfect spot to spend my Friday nights! Friday is my only free night of the week, so finding a great place to unwind is essential. I discovered this spot a few months ago, and my initial visit was a mixed experience. During my first Friday visit, the bartender seemed uninterested and unfriendly, which was surprising because I had a fantastic experience earlier in the week with a different, very welcoming bartender.

Despite my initial disappointment, I decided to give it another shot this week. I'm so glad I did! The bartender on duty this Friday was incredibly friendly and attentive. He mentioned that he'll be working Friday nights regularly, and his excellent customer service skills have convinced me to make this my go-to spot every week.

Customer service truly makes all the difference!

Extremely happy finding this place, tried their house teas & their kava shell yesterday & after finishing those delicious treats at the bar, I had to grab a Titanic to Go Charka was an amazing and extremely knowledgeable individual and an absolute pleasure to speak with. Wow what a gem<3 I had to go to the DMV and luckily saw this place in the same plaza for post appointment pick me up. I drink kratom pretty often so got a large with some flavors (lots of fun options) and they weren't lying when they said they're strong! Halfway through and I'm already feeling great. The employees were all so friendly and helpful. Prices and rewards programs are great as well. 100% recommend, I wish I lived closer

I have finally found a kava bar where the owners genuinely care about their customers and their product. Meeting Maxx and his staff, Charka and Taj, has been an amazing experience. From day one, they’ve been incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel as if you’ve known them for years. This is hands down the best kava bar in Broward—10/10. It’s the highlight of my day to visit and see them, along with their adorable fur babies, Maverick, Bear, Narls, and Cee-low! You can’t beat the friendly staff, inviting environment, excellent product, or great pricing.

This bar is by FAR, the most welcoming of environments of all time. Kava bar or not. My first time going there I was greeted by Charka with a sparkler because I had mentioned a new chapter in my life and she wanted to celebrate that with me. Then I met Maxx, one of the owners, that introduced himself with a big hug and said “we’re glad you’re here”. Shortly then after I started working there. I am now an ex employee of this bar, due to health concerns, of which both Maxx and James (the owners) were beyond understanding and continued to reach out and check on me, despite me having to quit. I was lucky enough to experience this bar both as a customer AND as a previous employee. Nothing but AMAZING things to say about this bar and the environment that is fostered there. Love you guys!
