What a fun idea. We were greeted by our server when we entered and she asked if we had ever been in before. We answered no, so she told us about playing games and which games we could choose from. We were never told that we would be charged a "table fee."

We picked out two games and brought them to our table. Our server came over and told us we were only allowed two games at a time. It seemed unnecessary since we were seated and only had two games.

It took a while to decide on food and she came by often to ask if we were ready. After we ordered and began playing, our server did not come back for a long time. Someone else brought out our food and we enjoyed it while playing our game. The ranch dressing was very bland, the mac was tasty though heavy on the garlic, but the chicken tenders were really good.

I waited with an empty glass for too long and finally saw her passing and was able to ask for a refill. That was her only service after we placed our order.

Interesting little bar food place that is basically a massive board game store, where you can also play any game or bring your own! The sheer breadth and amount of board games will leave your head spinning. I do recommend this place as it’s refreshing to see old school games and people who enjoy them! Great place for gifts too

We came here on a Saturday as a group of 4 around 2pm. This was our first time and the hostess explained how we can pick out games then sat us down. The menu was a bit confusing as it was trying to tie things to different card games. It took at least 10 minutes before someone came to our table to take our drink orders. We then had a long wait until we made our food order and went to go pick out some board games as we waited. There were a ton of options which I thought was cool, but a little overwhelming.
When we finally ordered, we only ordered appetizers. I ordered the Tetris Totchi Koro which was loaded tots. I appreciated the fun shapes and the crisp on the tater tots. I think the sour cream took away from the fondue flavor and the ranch was more dilly than I personally prefer. My husband ordered Chicky Boom Bites and they were not good. The batter had no flavor and it was overcooked. The chicken was not dry, but the breading just took away from the experience. My friends ordered Poutine for a Queen which was loaded fries with gravy and they enjoyed it. My one friend also ordered Point Salad and it was fine, just a normal salad.

Overall, I really did enjoy the fact we got to play games throughout our meal as it allowed us more time to connect and talk. I do wish the waiter would have checked in a bit more. I think this place is really great concept and I only tried a small snapshot of their menu so I assume they have some items that may be better.

First time here with my fiancé and we are obsessed! Such a cool concept for a restaurant — who doesn’t love delicious food and playing games? I’ll definitely be bringing friends and family back here.

I got their vegan burger and it was great! They have other vegan options too which is fantastic to find, along with fun mocktails. My fiancé ordered the asiago-stuffed gnocchi and it came with a delicious kale salad. The staff was super friendly as well which was awesome and encouraged us to take a look at all the games and bring them to the table. We can’t wait to return!!

I’d like to start with the highlights of our recent visit to Crossroads. The updated menu offered a wide variety of good options, and when our food finally arrived, it was excellent. The atmosphere is always pleasant, and we enjoy the selection of games available.

However, that’s unfortunately where the positives end. We’ve visited Crossroads many times in the past, back when they used the playing card system for table service, and we consistently had great experiences. It seems they’ve now switched to a dedicated server model, but this recent visit was marked by some of the worst service we’ve had in recent memory. Over the course of several hours and more than $100 in food and drinks, we received almost no service. We requested drink refills that never arrived, were never asked if we wanted more mixed drinks, and couldn’t get anyone to take our dessert order. Crossroads likely missed out on another $100 of orders simply because no one checked on our table.

After waiting nearly an hour for appetizers, our server explained there was a large party upstairs. We understood the delay, but it didn’t explain why we couldn’t get basics like water or additional drinks. Even after the large party had left, we still had to flag someone down just to place our entree order.

While we don’t have a great review to leave this time, we genuinely hope Crossroads reconsiders their approach to service. We probably won’t be returning soon, but we may give it another try in the future in hopes of a better experience.

Love this place. I go every week. The food is pretty good. They have awesome and creative dishes and their Tots are awesome! Generally the service is good. What makes it special is the 2000+ board games you can get and play with your friends at the tables. I love it, and the games are surprisingly well maintained and the staff surprisingly knowledgeable about the games! Remember to give an extra tip to the staff because they prioritize your experience rather than rushing to turn over tables quickly. A lot of tables sit there for hours, so take care of the staff!

Also! I started buying my board games here too. They have a huge selection of new-in-box games for sale and the prices are only a few dollars different from Amazon prices. It's completely worth spending that money locally!

I know you'll love this place as much as my family and I do!

This is kind of the dream place I have always wanted to own as a gamer, someplace with lots of board games that I can play while having a good meal. The food was delicious, though I underestimated the size of the appetizer, and the red ale was very tasty as well. They were a bit short staffed when I was there, but the staff that were there were all super nice and helpful. I'm already looking forward to going again with my friends.

One of the coolest spots I've been to. They have it set up so you can play board games while you eat and drink. Lots of available games at the store that are all free to use. Not sure if you can bring your own games, but I'm assuming so. Lots of games for sale as well if you fall in love with any while you're there. The food was good but not amazing. They had a good selection of beers and mixed drinks. Staff was very friendly as well, although could be a tad more attentive I think. But overall a great experience and would definitely recommend as a date night or just to go with a group of friends and have a good evening!
