Wow what a great find!

After a long walk around the battlefield me, my partner and his two brothers were all super hungry!

When I happened upon public house kitchen, my group can be quite particular when it comes to food and we all left happy, satisfied and full!

Danyelle was our server and was super friendly and patient as she happily guided us through the menu making great suggestions along the way! She also mentioned what a great place it is to work and how active the owner is in the restaurant helping out in every department as needed and wow does it show.

We will definitely be back soon and highly recommend them to everyone looking for a great bite and a drink in the area!!

Nice place, there is bar and tables inside in air-conditioned area. There are tables on the street too. Battle street hamburger was well done as I wanted. There is large offer of beers. Just the servise is not the best one. I was not served by any conditements. I had to take ketchup and mustard from another table. I had to ask for fork and knife.

We really enjoyed this place. We had the smoked salmon sandwich and Greek salad. Both were good. Service was great. Reasonable prices. Nice location. I would definitely recommend this place.

Came out here for my 31st birthday, had heard about it being the best spot in old town. All I can say was that it was so much fun, definitely a night to remember. The staff were super friendly and very helpful as it was my first time. The food was delicious!!! I heard about there Gouda mac and cheese and it was exactly what everyone said DELICIOUS!! 10/10 for the whole place. Also had the wings and chicken sandwich and it was huge for a really good price too. Definitely recommend coming out here to eat or drink!

After some bar hoping in town and looking for a dinner I lucked out by coming here. Ridiculously good food, fried chicken plate and burger as our choice of plates for a place that kitchen closes at 12:30, so very few choices at this time. Blown away at how good the food was. First time visiting this town and can’t wait to come back specifically for this place.

We came here on a Sunday evening for dinner.
We sat outside because it was nice outside today.
Waitress was very great. 5 stars. She was very polite and friendly and helpful. She was also very prompt.
Food was 3 stars. The pretzels and cheese was really good. The burger and crispy chicken cordon blue were okay. The cordon blue was a little bit over fried.
We tried a new place. It was okay. Probably won't come back. But this was worth a try.

The Mrs. and I took a trip out to Manassas to meet our friends for dinner at a place called Public House Kitchen and Brewery, located on Battle Street. First of all it does not have its own parking, so you will be looking for a spot on the street. If that doesn't scare you off, you'll be treated to a very fun tavern. The dining room is not what you'd call large, so expect some noise on weekend nights. We were shown to the last open table on this Saturday night by a very nice server. My wife started with a Public House Winter Amber Lager, which she really liked. I went a bit darker, with a Public House Darkness. It too was outstanding. It was quite smooth, and the chocolate came through.
As an appetizer we had the Candied Bacon. This was basically thick cut slabs of bacon with a smoky maple syrup glaze. Decent, but kind of heavy.
For dinner, my wife had muscles. She reported it to be good, standard muscles in a garlic broth. I had salmon with mashed potatoes and fried Brussel Sprouts. The salmon was very good, only the Brussel Sprouts had quite a number of loose leaves, and not just whole Sprouts.
The service was extraordinary, and the dining room, though a bit tight, was really fun with a number of very interesting light fixtures. Definately a place we'd go back to again, especially to sample more of their beer.

Great place in downtown Manassas, always the vibe especially on a weekend night. Wide selection of local beers on draft, liquor and mixed drinks and their kitchen is open late. Try the fried chicken sandwich!
